What is Shankle House’s capacity?

Up to 100 people including caterers and event planners. Special arrangements may be made for greater capacity.

How do we reserve our date?

Do you have parking available?

We have limited parking available behind the house for event hosts, planners, and caterers. There is public parking available across the street for guests.

Does Shankle House accommodate overnight guests?

Shankle House is available to rent during the listed rental times only and is not available for overnight rentals.

What is the Cleaning Policy and Fee?

The renter is responsible for leaving the venue including the kitchen area and grounds as it was found. Cups, napkins, food, and other trash should be disposed of by the end of the rental time period. Any trash on the floor must be swept up and disposed of by the renter, and any spills must be cleaned up. If the clean-up has not been completed before the end of the rental time period, a cleaning fee will be charged.

Can I decorate the venue?

Shankle House does not allow confetti, glitter, or any other such material inside or outside the venue. Birdseed is permitted in the yard only. The renter is not allowed to hang any items from the walls, but may hang items from the ceiling as long as they are taken down by the end of the rental time period and do not damage the ceiling. All decorations must be cleaned up and removed upon the conclusion of the event.
